Hello,what is wrong with the forums, why are posts like listed, but I cannot read them without clicking onto them.

    I was under the impression that once you've done that once it should last, but since I can't reproduce your problem I can't tell for sure.

    Yes, &mode changes your preferred mode. IF you accidentally follow another link that ends with &mode=threaded you will get switched back to threaded, at which point you will need to append &mode=flat to the end of a thread you are viewing (or click my awesome link again).

    And no, until the forums are fully fixed there is no easier way (as I understand it, Comprox doesn't have the access he needs, and Flayra/Max are to busy making us NS2, so I am content with hackery until then)

    Well, to be fair:
    1) they have been working on this game nearly full time for about 2 years iirc.
    2) they are damn good.
    3) IIRC they do hire people for external help (much like they did in NS1, for instance the voices in NS1 were done by a relatively famous voice actress, though I can't remember who it was atm))
    4) They Are Really Damn Good.

    As for the Alien Commander:
    We really don't know much of anything about it yet.

    woah 2 years... time goes so fast.
    last question before ordering NS2. How about pings? I live in Europe, but wont the ping be too high when playing in servers from other countries? Not even a small lag?
    hope someone could answer to this

    Well, you could play on european servers? That should ensure low pings. For the lowest pings, try servers from your own country, even.

    I found if you are in a real hurry and just want to see it all at once you can click on the Lo-Fi Version link at the very bottom of the page and it displays everything. Of course you loose some other benefits.
