It would, though, be nice with an email to the once who have bought the Special Edition saying when they expect the alpha.. But let's not rush them too much, I think they have a lot on their minds atm.

They haven't hidden the fact that the pre-orders were there to generate much-needed capital at this particular time, and also as a means to establish a decent player base for their alpha and beta releases. In any case, pre-orders happen all the time with speculative release dates, and they <b>have</b> given a firm date of "fall '09". That's more than most companies offer, sometimes they even get the year wrong!

(Assuming both would be marketed on steam)
