Looking for official backstory

I remember reading the official back story to NS a long time ago..must have been around 2003 when i first discovered the game.
It was really awesome reading, kinda short but very nicely written. If i remember correctly it was written in a form of a interview and described the formation of the new TSA marines etc. Also there was a bit musing about the origins of the aliens.
I remember reading it so many times, and it was one of the major reasons i got addicted to NS. Along with the atmosphere, music and great graphics (for a HL1 mod).

I can't seem to find it anywhere on the site or forums, so if anyone could point me to it, it would be great <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> Also it would serve as an excellent manual for NS2, since the conditions haven't changed that much (as far as i know) and it would really set NS2 in league with other games with a really well-developed background story (Quake 2/4, StarCraft, Half-Life 1/2 etc)

Other than that, i just wanna give my thanks to the NS crew. Great job on the game and i'm really looking forward to NS2 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" /> Trying to contribute as much as possible (Constellation and NS2 Pre-order) and will try to be more active on the forums.

What you're looking for is the story "Six Days in Sanjii", which was moved here: <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/world/background/" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/world/background/</a>

    Nice, thanks <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

I also remember reading another story in combination with that one..it described some sort of reporter travelling to a TSA/Frontiersmen training camp and getting a tour of the facilities and capabilities of the newly trained soldiers. I've been looking through the fan-fiction section to find it, but no such luck yet.

Hehe, awesome story m8 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> The talking onos and G-man was just hilarious! Although the best part was about the adventurous gorge and the description of the hive mind.

I'm aware of the Nali Warcow, but no <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> I made up the name by combining my old nick (WarBringer - a StarCraft hero unit) and with my love of all things bovine. Since then, i've seen loads of warcow-like creatures in games, including NS (Onos) and World of WarCraft (Tauren race) and of course UT <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

    There's also a large amount of backstory in the <a href="http://www.brywright.co.uk/ns/manual-104/introduction.html" target="_blank">original NS manual</a>.
