Sprites dont show up

When I play as a marine, the sprites (buildings) which commander started show up as black squared
in the left top corner, and not what they really should be.
Also If I enter a command console, the commander's menu is dark, I can select the buildings and place them,
but I can't see what I selected, as its all black squares there.
Ideas??
