Hello everyone. I hope you have all read the most recent blog post regarding the Marine Power Grid mechanic as well as the discussion related to it. I'm sure many of you are interested in learning more about the level design process for NS2 and the people behind it. Recently I was lucky enough to hold an interview with the lead NS2 level designer, KungFuSquirrel, which covers many questions about his work on NS2 and level design in general. It's quite interesting, so have a read for yourself:

I'm sure that KFS reads these forums, so if you have any questions about his work post them here. And of course be sure to give him your support!

Looking forward to reading this after reading KFS post on the power grid forum.
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy whenever it does go up; it's not a whole lot of crazy detailed info but might have a few small tidbits.
I'm also working on a more polished overview of our level design process so far to complement Charlie's Power Grid post as well as the post I made yesterday; that should be up as a blog sometime soon.
And if its any comfort, in regards to wanting to be an architect at a young age... the maps you build provide much more comfort, fun, and entertainment for a plethora of people, compared to a house that a few people live in.
If anything, you're passion for design could rival that of real architects.
