Starcraft II - Battlereport #2
<div class="IPBDescription">Another ingame video</div>Blizzard finally released <a href="http://www.starcraft2.com/features/battlereports/2.xml" target="_blank">Battlereport 2</a>. It's a ~20 minute Terran vs Zerg match, where you can see some of the new units and features being used.
I must say it looks REALLY good. I'd of course expect that, but I'm still impressed how smooth the game looks. There seemed to be a few "massmurder" units/skills that worry me a bit, but I'll just hope and trust they'll turn out okay.

Comments
Especially the lack of expanding and teching by the Zerg player, the crafted enthousiasm by the shoutcasters, mentioning every little thing.
Bring some English speaking Koreans that show the magic or heck even a subtitled match for all I care!
Do have to say the game looks damn good.
edit
Holy crap this is an alpha? Giggidy.

It also felt like they were intentionally repeating some starcraft tricks there. The bunker push, the zerg flanking it and the scv ramp defence later on are practically direct moves from the original game. Of course its marines vs zerglins, so the basic rules are still the same, but I'd rather see them mixing up those tricks a bit.
All in all it still looks very promising. Starcraft is one of those games which you'll have to play and understand to see the real beaty though.
You propably mean the Nighthawk (Banshees are the "normal" gunships with cloak). Nighthawks have the new ability called "Hunter-Seeker missile", which is a slow seeking missile that deals a lot of damage. In the video, they looked more like flying mines than missiles. The nighthawks can also deploy turrets, and I think they did so at least once during the game.
I think thats more of a by-product of leaving much of the originals gameplay mechanics intact. The trick with the Reaper proximity mines was pretty cool - I definitely think there's more 'tricks' than the original, they just can't always be shown in the same match.
<a href="http://www.sc2armory.com/forums/topic/7570" target="_blank">Battle Report #3</a> has been leaked/released. A Zerg vs Protoss game this time.
I would like to know as well.
From what I can see, it is like the original. Plus, Starcraft is a extremely competitive game and having something important as attacks hitting depend on random chance would piss off all of Korea.
