A long time ago, the devs announced something called the BUS. It was a codename for something they were working on. Until now, they have not let on what it is. Or most probably, it doesnt exist anymore.

BUS, paradoxically, stands for Big Unannounced System. It was later called nexus, but it is most likely dead. IIRC the developer working on it left UWE a long time ago.
