<div class="IPBDescription">I have a question and i would realy appriciate it if you help.</div>I just have a question, i read about that i have to buy Half-Life on Steam and then i need to get NS...The question is do i need to buy Half-Life on Steam when i already have it?I bought it when they where selling it here.And it hasnt been moded or anything.So is it possible to use my old HL and just mod it somehow?And if it is possible will i be abble to play online whit all the others?Thanks in advance! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    If you actually bought it you can download steam and use the "activate a product on steam",
    you will then have to enter the cd key.

    After that you'll load halflife over steam, then you download NS.

    Well i was wondering is there any way to play on servers off Steam?I dont have it and i dont wanna risk anything.So are the any non-Steam servers?Again thanks in advance.

    If you want to play NS, download steam, register your HL and install NS. Done.
    There is no way to play over WON.

    Steam is free, there's no risk if you've got a legal copy of HL.
    Although sometimes keys are already in use. I had to rebuy HL because someone with a keygen registered my key.
