One of our local radio stations (<a href="http://www.rtvnoord.nl" target="_blank">RTV Noord</a>), here in the Netherlands had a good April fools joke.

There is a Dutch song called "<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stw98A4zPuk" target="_blank">Bie de Lidl</a><!--sizeo:1--><span style="font-size:8pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><!--coloro:#333333--><span style="color:#333333"><!--/coloro--> -video not the original one, just posted it for the song<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->", talking about all kinds of stuff you can buy at the supermarket Lidl. The radio station has played this song excessively and because of this they received a letter from the Comity for the media. This letter said they were fined for €33.000, because another supermarket thought Lidl received to much free publicity.


Lot's of people signed a protest on their site. Turned out it was all in good fun <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
