Weapon "modes"

So i have been thinking that both team would have weapon modes. Its hard to explain with my english, but i try <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
So this is the idea: some weps like Sg could have 2 shooting modes normal and slug mode. The slug mode would shoot same way as ns1 rifle but a bit slower and much more accurate. So sg would work as normal sg or as rifle. Maybe bad example but i hope you ppl got the idea
Then kharaa, for example i pic lerk. They would have 2 main "weapons" to choose from: Bite and Spike Shooting (they had that in ns1 at old school times? or am i wrong now XP) they would be able to choose between those weps while gestating, and maybe able to change it later at hive or something <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />.
So i my idea pure Dog+Human = <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/pudgy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::gorge::" border="0" alt="pudgy.gif" />
or good one?

Slug mode could possibly be, instead of a more accurate fire, it could be increased damage albiet a slower rate of fire.
But from what i heard there's going to be 2nd weapon upgrades or something of the like to the marine's weapons (Been a while since i last read up on the NS2 details so my memory is a little sketchy so correct me if i'm wrong).
As for the Kharaa.. I don't think we should give them anything else! They are already overpowered in skilled hands as is <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />.
