Nazi Zombies, new Verruckt Map

<div class="IPBDescription">In the new CoD:WaW map pack</div>In case you didn't hear, here's a <a href="http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3173341" target="_blank">random news story about it</a>.

Now, I bought the map pack for the new Nazi Zombies level. They upped the freakiness by about 10-fold! Other than the obviously new things (electric traps, soda machines, starting separated from the rest of your "team"), some of the other differences I saw:

-Zombies now attack you through a half-beaten down barrier (!)
-Knifing gives you some points
-An insanely creepy voice announces when you get powerups

And that's all well and good, but I'd like to talk strategy on this new map here... My roommate and I just played about 6 rounds, and the furthest we got was round 11. We always tried to get to the power as fast as possible, but once we got there (if we got there), we didn't know what to do next - we never figured out how to use the traps effectively, nor did we find any good places to hold up.

Also, it seems like it's a lot easier to get to the power from the "German-Weapons" side than the "American-Weapons" side. I'm trying to find the loading screen picture that shows a floor plan, but no dice.

Anyone else get suckered into this game/map-pack and got any ideas?

I'm talking about Nazi Zombies, not WaW. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> Although, WaW is basically CoD4, stolen and re-painted with WWII weapons, so I can't really see how CoD4 was fun, but WaW is not.

You could have the most fun and revolutionary game mode ever and it will still suck ###### because it's a part of WaW.

I wouldn't say it's not fun. I'd say people are put off by how alike to CoD4 it is. It's a fun game. We've just played it before.
