    It does not seem possible to survive a tank among a horde... even the game as it is now only spawns a tank once the horse is gone (Not counting boomers). Crapload of pipes anyone?

    I'm going to save myself from playing til this gets out, a player controlled tank at dead air is quite hard to face I'd imagine . All you get is height advantage piles of luggage.

    from the damages that were done in the video, it looks like the difficulty was at normal, and since it gets increasingly difficult i bet you can't change that difficulty. and at normal, tanks are much easier to kill. i think they only have 3k health instead of 5k on advance/expert/versus

    I'm just wondering, why didn't they just stand in a corner and spam melee like all other 'pros' out there? No special or regular zombies will get to you. When a tank comes around you simply leave the corner momentarily to deal with it.

    You haven't played L4D in a while.

    A patch a few months ago added a limit to the number of times you can melee inside a given timeframe.

    I'm looking forward to playing some new maps. I don't play much versus, having an extreme aversion to playing on pub servers. I can rarely get close to eight of my cohort together on the same server.

    The above just fixed extreme melee spamming, it still works perfectly well to sit all four survivors clipped inside each other in a corner to fend of 99% of all attacks and smoker tongues.

    Achievements? Surely they must add stuff like "Be last one to survive" and such. I think I read something about medals for survival mode, bronze, silver and gold. No new weapons or anything :/.

    Unlockable weapons., I vote for a Flamethrower or DEWM (spraycan with lighter)? Would be overpowered though as the infected are made of self-combustible wrapping paper <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

    The Witch no longer cuts Smoker tongues in a radius around her

    Boomers that explode in mid-air will now hit Survivors directly below them with Bile

    Reduced the damage that burning Hunters do to pounced victims

    Adjusted the time at which players take over from bots to avoid 5 seconds of the bot standing idle while the player finishes connecting.

    Fixed some cases where versus score was not being recalculated properly. It is no longer beneficial to pass pills between players at the end of the round or heal other players and then shoot them

    Haven't really managed to swipe more then one survivor with a tank punch though. Regardless, the smoker and boomer buffs are always welcome.

    They fixed the fix, Tank can multi-bam for reals now.

    It's good that they fixed the tank moving too slowly when crouching and getting shot at. Gets rid of the many vent exploits you use to kill a tank. However, from the previous post, it only mentions that the tank has this change in versus mode. What about campaign mode? Is it still unchanged.

    And I just played a game where team A went thru area A, and activated 1 tank. But team B went through area A, and activated 2 tanks. Is it supposed to be like that? Because I had the impression that both teams would now have the same number of tanks and witches.

    Well, I played a game yesterday and team A got a tank above the elevator in no mercy 4, before we had pushed the button. We (team B) got one after they left the elevator at the top. Their tank had died/vanished when we got up.

    The more fixes the merrier bugs!

    This is really really lame. Now when the tank comes the survivors just run full speed to an earlier part of the level. The tank can't catch up, and then it gets turned over to the AI who ###### it all up.
