Revival

Do you think it's a good idea to allow revival in MS2? Give them 2 minutes to revive (and 14 seconds to allow them to give up) and use like shock paddles or something, but dont do it like L4D, and put them in ragdoll once they are in revival mode (because it looked very weird in L4D)

    Well, that would have to depend on whether there is a R4K system in ns2. if there isnt, then i should want the incap person to be able to have the option to die early if nobody wants to save him. should apply to kharaa too.

    So you're saying that they can lie there for up to 2 minutes and wait for a teammate to revive, or they can respawn normally after 14 seconds?

    Oops. Sorry for misreading your post. and now that I've re-read it, I would totally be against the idea. If I kill some1, Id want him to stay dead and not crawl up and kill me later.

    I think with the current squad spawning idea, this wont really work.

    Unless there's a XP/rank system like in ET: Wolfeistein or Empires, I see no point.

    Who needs revival when you got magical teleporting Infantry Portals with no other technology on the other end... They just went 'Star Trek' on our ass.
