Getting Steamed on Every Server

I've noticed that people are getting "steamed" or randomly kicked lately. Over the past 2 weeks I can count maybe 2 or 3 occasions where it's impossible to play NS for more than 15 minutes straight. Every minute or so people would get kicked 2 or 3 at a time on almost every server (if not every server).
I can assure you it's not the server or me that is the problem. I've seen it happen to pretty much everyone on every server. It's also seeming sporadic... some nights it happens while other nights it doesn't happen at all.
Anyone know what's going on?
