    The branches in the foreground sure made it look good and interesting. Had they not been there it would have been quite dull and un-contrasty.

    I like it, the use of warm colors brings the painting more closer to the viewers and nice usage of the branches around as if the viewer is peeking out of the forest for this beautiful sight.

    Not bad for a first painting. The branches are nice but it lacks depth towards the middle of the picture (largely due to the lack of tonal range for the 'rocks').
