Just now it told me that cookies were not enabled. I went for a look in chrome's options and they were. Both internet explorer and google chrome stopped working at the same time.

    Check your router.

I'm genuinely not kidding about this. We've seen at least one case where someone has had their Internet facing router hijacked and compromised with a web proxy that's keylogging all their activity. Paranoid? It sounds it, until you've seen it happen. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

It may be worth resetting and reconfiguring it after an update to the latest firmware, if you're unsure.

maybe try moving all your cookies to another folder in case there's some write protection problem? make sure they're not read-only?

Are you on a large network? someone could be ARP poisoning it and it can cause everything not to log in and stuff

I actually deleted my cookies and it's still a problem.

I'm on a network consisting of me and another PC configured through a switch -> modem -> net.

Seeing as how timetravel is not invented yet, I might be better off just setting my time and date correctly, thus fixing my cookie problem.

    Sorry for the inconvenience guys.

A lock is in order I believe.

This just happened to my friend, too. His computer thought it was 2012. Deleted all his emails that were over 30 days old (AKA all of them).
