Skulk's Bite animation (from the world view)

Just wondering if you guys are going to (or have) significantly change the actual skulk bite animation as it's viewed by others in the game world.

It always seemed as if the skulk was simply <i></i>nibbling<i></i> you when it bit you. Same goes for RTs, it looked like they were just gnawing them to death with their 2 inch bite.

Basically, I'm just hoping you somehow make the skulks bite animation more fierce and true to the first person view.

    Never really noted, but now... They don't even open the mouth...

    Just quick idea that doesn't require new thread. When skulks bites nothing/marines, they just bite as crazy. If bitting a structure, they chew the structure.

    And maybe if hitting alieds they nibble they?

    edit:The idea of nibble is nibbling do not cause friendly fire. But, if a marine and a skulk is side by side, the priority is to bite crazy so both will receive damage.

    Half-Life is not the best engine for animating anything really. You shouldn't be worried about NS2 having any of the relics of the NS1.

    I have been playing some Savage 2 since it became free and wow, it is such a nice change to be able to melee in third person. I started playing NS1 two weeks ago and it is a big change.
