<div class="IPBDescription">Only when I move it fast</div>I got a cheapo logitech optical mouse off amazon from someone as a gift, and the darn thing stalls/hitches/somethings whenever I move it quickly. Is there a way to fix that or is it just a bad mouse? For example, moving it at a slow pace in say, TF2 is fine. but if I go to move it to do a 180 it will stall/not work properly. Any ideas?

ps: it is a USB mouse, new, clean, no hair in it etc.

I had this sort of issue for awhile. Turned out it was the designs on my mouse pad. Who knew?

Wow, that must be a very old model. They used to skip when moved too fast (180 degree fps turns), but with current bandwidth and internal workings of the optical/laser processors only superman could skip them. Also shiny surfices will kill any optical/laser mouse, (laser mice can even get killed by a single hair <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> )

Maybe try something like usbrate and set the hz of your usb ports to something higher then 125hz (default)
