I played played a few NS1 games and i found my self beeing kicked out of server just becuse i dont know "how" to play as commander.

Well i normaly dont play comm, but i tought that i should start getting the hang of it and all... But most servers i join has that if you dont know how to comm then dont bother.. Then how the hell should i learn then..

So i hope in NS2 that there will be somekind of commander school where you learn the basic of beeing a commander so that you have and idea of what to do and then skill your commander skills up in muliplayer.

I mean i had to join a bot server to test my rust comm skills.

donno, but i think is a good idea.. i mean just have a room where you play as a commander that need to do som objects that includes build and supporing your trupp with bots or something like that.

i tought there where that kind of servers out there..

But im aiming to the all newcomer to NS2 that havent played NS1. To give them a change to play commander online, and they would not know about those servers.

or an tutorial vido like battlefield 2142 has for there titan mode...

There are lots and lots of threads about training, commanders included.

I don't know how much this will be built into NS2, but I'm sure the community can help set this up.

yeah we the community can allways find something, but i like to see something that can be made from the team in to ns or as said we the community can make something that they can later intergrade in to game in some big update or something.

I think a "hazard course" for commander would be great. A scripted solo game where you can learn how to be a commander (or at least know where to click when people yell at you <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" /> )

Would make people a lot less scared of going in there and giving it a go.

yeah this is whay i was going for.. i know that in NS there are servers for this, but newcommer dont..

so like you say some course that shows the basics of beeing commander.
