trouble with choke and reg

Hi all..

I have been away from NS for some time, but now ive started again. I have trouble finding the right settings, ive got constant choke and no reg. i hope some1 can help me with this.. cause i cant hit anything like this <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Choke shouldn't throw off your reg at all; ping spikes on the other hand probably will, turn on net_graph 1 and check how straight your green line is(screenshot below is ideally what you want).

Do you have problems for netplay with other HL mods running on default settings? Other games? The default settings should not be giving you constant choke, even for NS. IT is either a server issue or a connection issue, more than likely not a settings issue on your end.
