Did this not happen ages ago?

Or has it officially, officially, closed now?

It basically died in February, but it appears that the domain (ansl.us) has finally expired.

Well if the domain has expired then that would be the official part of ANSL's obituary. It still saddens me regardless.

Are there any NS leagues left?

    <a href="http://ensl.zanith.nl" target="_blank">http://ensl.zanith.nl</a> is still left.
New season starting at October 27th; everyone is welcome as long as they can deal with european servers and playtime.

I miss NS Radio more than ANSL tbh, which still hasn't officially died in spite of it being technically dead for many, many years.

I hope Flayra is going to gear Natural Selection twards compeditive play. With no good compeditive play there will be no life span to the game. Look at cs. The game is so simple, and it looks like ######, but people still play it due to the compeditive aspect, and that is why it gets so much attention from the media. I played this game since v1.04 and was just a "pubber" then, As i came into the comp scene thats when I latched to the game. I still play scrims and pugs when i can because NS is by far the best compeditive game I have ever played. But if nothing is done to revive the compeditive scene NS will die again. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fade.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::fade::" border="0" alt="fade.gif" />

if you wanna play a cs clone play cs, too much heavy handing on the general game mechanics sucked a lot of the skill, scope and finesse this game had in the first place <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
