<div class="IPBDescription">Suggestion for Concept</div>Just wondering if anyone here watches Stargate Atlantis? Anyways, I don't know if this has been discussed but I had a suggestion for something that I think could be awesome for the NS2 Commander Chair. The following clip is from the first episode of Stargate Atlantis where the team is studying the chair that controls all of the ancient systems in the base. I was thinking that something similar could be adapted to NS2 and give the Commander Chair more of an empowering technological look. Check it out:

Yes, the UW even said the game takes place, I think a decade, correct if wrong, ahead of NS, even though NS never had a story. Hmm, this makes me want the UW Team to add Map 'History' to every offical map.
Once you step into the current command chair it makes you feel waaaaaAAAaaaaay too separated from where you really are. And its not immersive at all.
It could move at half the speed of a marine, and the drawback would be that The Commander can't do anything while he is moving within the CC.

I want this in, if only so I can drive around in my brand new pimpmobile as the com.
The CC should be a seat, with the commander exposed. You see normally, but, holographic pictures appear infront of you, the main one is the CC vision(RTS view or overhead of map with marines) The other small one on the right has all the build commands, RT's, TF's, IP's, etc. You can see what's happening around the command chair through the holo panels, but not so clearly, to put full focus on the RTS Screen infront of you.
