Hey guys,
I've been looking for a game the past hours and couldn't find it.
I have no idea what the title might be or who the developer/publisher is, the setting is approximately the following:
You are being abducted and brought to a planet where you're being turned partly into a robot or something like that and now have to escape from that planet.
A vital point of the game was an always-recurring elevator, you'd always ascend or descend a level and do stuff.
It was 3D and third-person and judging by my dim memories of the graphics the release date would be between 1995 and 1998.

Ah, sorry for that.
Right after I posted iFire helped me to locate it, the title is BioForge.

dude, that game was so awesome. One of Origin's hidden gems. I still replay it sometimes. Felt ahead of its time for the mid 90's, but most Origin games did... very cinematic and immersive. Honestly, as far as futuristic cyber-y games with good plot go, I think it gave me more joy than System Shock 2 :o

    The game in question, I believe, might be Origin's <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioforge" target="_blank">Bioforge</a>?

I heard of a game once that sounded similar. It was called Bioforge or something. Could that be it?

Man, that was a fun game! Right up there with Under A Killing Moon. (Ridiculous game titles for $500 Alex!)
