ported to pc
some of you may remember halflife getting ported to the ps2, and also getting added on an expansion pack only for ps2, halflife:decay.
well someone just ported decay over to pc as a mod.
http://decay.half-lifecreations.com/?conte...s&sub=decay
there is the download link. its only 35 mb
the mod seems pretty cool so far, its set up to be coop the entire game, and pretty much mandatory to be coop. if you want to play single player you can, and the second player is a bot that just stands there, but you can switch back and forth between the 2 players, and pretty much have to.
Personally, I would rather play with a real person. anyone up for it? the download is there, just friend me on steam, the link to my steam profile is in my sig.

Using your coop player as stepping stone to get into areas you're not supposed to be in and screwing up the scripted sequences as a result is quite funny <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
I'd say it's quite a nice coop game, but you do need to be lenient towards the quirks it has. The game is too easy to break, so with each step stay clear of the npc's otherwise they could get stuck on stuff (not opening a door, activating thingies or simply walking towards the next target...)
The puzzles are especially noteworthy. Got stuck at least three times with me & my buddy not having the slightest idea of what to do. Solving them was satisfying.
