Marines More Teambased Or Aliens?

well...
Everyone seems to think Marines are more teambased, but I think aliens require more teamwork, why?

1. Marines have a commander to direct them around, one source to tell them what to do. While aliens must each individually cooperate with each other, and come up with a plan together. Marines have one making plans. Aliens require working together to get a plan going.

2. Aliens have to discuss with each other where to place their structures effectively. While Marines just have one guy putting down structures, with small input from team. As ultimatly the commander decides the overall strategy of the game.

3. Idea of marine teamwork seems to be walking as one group or making a diversion and welding each other. Aliens gotta work with each other to setup the best structures, decide where to attack, and a lot of other stuff.

4. Marines got the "taunt" button, and thats just for showing off. While aliens don't, there equivelent "chuckle" is for scaring the enemy, but marine phrases "how did I get to be so good" seems ot be bragging.

5. Just from my experience, Marine "teamwork" esstentially invovles following orders. While aliens have to discuss amongst themselves what to do. When alien teamwork falls apart (people can't come ot agreement on where to build chambers first, who is gonna umbra, who is gonna get hive up, etc.) the game for aliens is made a lot more difficult, and marines can easily punish aliens by just walking as a big group and laying down turrets.

So which side takes more teamwork?

Well both sides can (and in fact should) operate as a team, but...

Marines cannot operate as an indivudual to the same level the aliens can. The reason being the hive mind advantage. Every alien can see which structure or fellow alien is under attack, their fellow aliens, and marked targets, and so can operate quite individually. There is no central commander, they don't recieve waypoints telling them where to go, it's up to them.

Marines, on the other hand, are totally blind. They don't know when a structure is under attack and they don't know when their fellow marine is under attack. Team play, sticking together, and following orders is absolutely paramount for marine survival and victory.

What the hell does that have to do with teamwork?

Yeah, I'd love to be able to say "How'd I get to be so good?" as an alien.
A couple of days ago, on Caged (I think, the one with the sewers near marine start), I was totally 0wning as skulk... I mean, I was untouchable. I defended the sewers and got about 20 kills, in just that one spot. Took down loads of shotgun marines and marines travelling in twos and threes. Carapace (There was a def chamber nearby), cloaking, and silence. Silence is pretty good when you're running around a lot or stalking in one spot, marines (Or, at least, I) can be alerted by the distinctive clik-clik-clik of skulk, and check their six a lot more for a while after hearing you.
