<div class="IPBDescription">An anim I realy enjoyed watching</div>Last month I had decided to watch an anim out of curiosity. I was hesitating alot because it was made back in 1999. But I was surprised to see how good it is. It is called <a href="http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=153" target="_blank">Great Teacher Nizuka (GTO)</a>. Briefly, its an ex-biker who decides to work as a teacher. You don't know if he is a perverted genius or just a pervert.

Anyone seen it ?

How did you find it ?


About the only thing that disapointed me was the last episode. You don't know there will be another season or not. But considering its been so long ago, I don't think so.

    Cowboy Bebop was made in 1998 and is a candidate for best anime evah! So... So how dare you hesitate at anime pre-2000 <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

    Also have not seen it, so ehm. I'll be over here with the other audience members.

    Great Teacher Onizuka is a cult classic... or at least the manga is and the real-life story it's all based off =P

    The anime was good until it caught up with the anime at which point they just started making their own stuff up. It crashed and burned for me when that happened but I watched it through to the end... not all of my friends had the same patience though and while loving the 'canon' parts they detested the episodes after it branches off to the point where they quit out before it got too far in.

    While we're on old-ish anime a friend of mine made me was "the world's strongest discipline kenichi". A little silly at times but consistent, with good characters, interesting relationships and some pretty well done fight scenes =D

    I've only seen the first couple episodes of the anime, but I've read the manga to the end. Both were great.

    I heard the manga was solid, and the anime just OK. Haven't gone through either. Too busy with other stuff.

    Still need to finish up GitS 2nd gig.

    The manga is way better than the anime, but the anime is pretty nice that too, at least until the last couple of episodes or so.
