I really dig the tunes but what exactly is he using, a ordinary keyboard synthesizer or what they are called?

I consider guys like this to be the future of the music industry. Here's another one.

Well, considering the size, that's not a simple ordinary keyboard/synth. It's probably got a bunch of patches and patch manipulation software inside it instead of a simple small set of traditions sounds, i.e. typical instruments.

    My personal favorite:

That one is my favorite of his.

This guy is crazy and was the first video I saw of someone really doing the guitar tapping stuff.

Jenkes is ok. IMO he gets more publicity then he deserves, and he's certainly not in the upper echelon of digital mixers. He's a great youtube personality though.

pretty much anyone who has a 4.2 or higher score at Newgrounds audio to start.

Realistically... what jenkes is doing is moderately decent keyboarding and reasonably mid level digital mixing. He's good, sure, but not uniquely amazing.

Pretty much any hired mixer for games, movies, advertizement, or really anything, probably produces better tracks on average then jenkes. They just don't have really cool videos on you tube showing off their skill.

I'm personally a bit partial for Khuskan, since he's done mixing and sound work for a half dozen source mods and really has no remarkable popularity to show for it, even though IMO the majority of his stuff is really quite good.
