<div class="IPBDescription">How many acually play nowadays?</div>Forgive me if this is to much of a useless topic, but after hearing people talking about there williness to play NS2, I though how many of these ppl acually play the original game NS.It seems like alot of people talk about the good ole' days of NS and seems like only a few play NS, becuase the Bad and gun server are the only ones with any people on them at times. Again sorry if this topic is useless but I just need some support that atleast SOME ppl still play NS.

I rarely post here, but I still check the board almost everyday, so I guess that sort of counts.

I am playing mostly Saturdays after 10pm EST if life doesn't keep me too busy. It would be more, but most of the chances I get to hop on for a few quick rounds during the week either have me stuck playing combat or custom garbage due to the few servers that actually play classic NS being full or completely empty.

Honestly, I wonder how many people out there are in the same boat and would play more if there were free slots open on populated classic servers more often.

I play probably more often then I check the forums... although that's not a whole lot one way or another. I'd say maby 6 hours in the last 2 weeks ingame?

I still play from time to time. It's hard to find a server running "vanilla" NS maps with sufficient players.
Newbies these days have hardly ever been in a real NS game.. Again, lamers and stat ######s are to blame for this corruption- I.e; Custom factor!

Well it seems that if another server was opend and dedicated to Classic and not customed to much then NS would be in better shape. Really the only good servers for the American side are <Bad> (where i usally play) and the guns sever, And both of those servers are usally full and if you do get in good for you.

As for my NS tag It's (BlackHawk) hey even my steam community ID is (blackhawk)

Yeah, it's a little hard to get good vanilla Classic servers. But if you get one going, it can be awesome.

if ya lookin for a good NS classic game

try BAD Clan or G4B2S

if ya in Australia, try customfactor or Jumba

otherwise get 2 computers, join same server, and start ya own game, people will follow

Holy crap it's swiftspear.
I'll be honest, I've played maybe once, for two hours, in the past 6 months, and I check the forums about as often, but I do still check them once in a while and I'm waiting for NS2, I just find I can't seem to have fun anymore with NS. CAL spoiled me and now I hate pubs too much.
