So, Is it still active?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Depends what you mean by "active". There are still plenty of servers, but ~80% or either bot or co_ or both. There are still classic NS servers, but it might take some patience to get in an NS game with good ping depending where you live.
Yes, there are many bot servers and combat only servers, but the odds of finding a good ns server is pretty good if you set filters. and if enough ppl join a bot server the bots usually leave to make room for the players.
<b>@Wretis:</b> Where are you from? The European NS community has a few very strong Classic communities, along with the usual custom/funmap servers and combat servers. In fact someone just started a new Classic server about a month or so ago and it already regularly full at peak playing hours.
The US community doesn't seem to be holding up as well.
There are still a few good servers; Tactical Gamer, yoclan, etc. It's not exactly the golden years but it's certainly not dead, and NS still beats almost every other HL mod.
Correct me if I'm wrong (about location), but the <BAD> Clan server is a 32 player server that fills well, offers a voting system for all maps, includes a great range of maps, and is base din Chicago, so most US based players can use it without too much lag.

yes you are right about the <Bad> server being full usually and not lagging for US players to much. (and its in my faviorites list) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />.
started playing again today, found a ns server with ease, and had fun commanding my 1st game in over a year^^ how fun it is to be ejected 30mins into the game lol <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

I hang around Jigglypuff's for smaller NS games. Problem is most of the good players have been banned. =[
G4BS, Tactical Gamer, and a couple others are good as long as they have free slots and you don't get kicked by reserve slot systems.
