    Why is it "<i>######</i> Roll'D"?

I have never seen or heard of this comic and this thread is awful; you should be ashamed. How could you possibly have believed this thread would be successful?

"Richard" is often palsy-walsied down to "######"

A friend could say "Hey ######, what are you doing this afternoon?"
    to his friend Richard.
To which he could answer "eviscerate your wife!"

Also: I do not see why so many people enjoy the comic "LFG". I think the art is boring and diffusely underesaturated / I hate looking at the artwork, I can't put my finger on its problem though.

I, for one, am appreciative of this thread! I love LFG, and Richard even more, and I find this to be most fun.

I'm still waiting for that comic to explain wtf is going on. The entirety of it, that is, not this particular one. This particular one was just utterly forgettable.

That's not even a proper Rick Roll. A proper Rick Roll would be if they came into a chamber expecting to find a treasure but instead found a guy singing. This is kinda the other way around, more like one of those "find the differences - 1 2 3 - ooh a scary face"-internet scares.

Yep Richard rocks. In fact: Every character, that breaks the 4th wall regularly is pretty damn coll in most cases.

*Swooosh* Behold, a natural 20. That means you die. What? You are 4th edition. <- Awesome.

Fourth-wall-breaking needs to be done either in moderation or as part of the storytelling format. The problem with LFG is that it is so schizophrenic. It can't decide whether it takes itself serious or not, which means that the "serious" parts don't work. At all. Elfboy-whose-name-I-keep-forgetting's moral dilemma with killing the innocent? Dude, you're in a comic! You're not a real person, and neither are those you kill! Go nuts! Who cares! If they really mattered, the <strike>GM</strike> author could just revive them!

In that sense, Richard works, because he seems to be the only character who doesn't at times catch a nasty bout of The Drama - because he knows that The Drama in a silly comic doesn't work. Pity his supporting cast are so clueless. And that he's such a flat character. He's evil, we get it. That is also his only character trait.

    Try the following POV:

A group of young Caucasian males are playing a self--made p&p rpg, which is a rather louse mix of dnd and wow. They are all taking it very serious, except one whom they cannot throw out, cause he is the only one with dice (or something like that).
