<div class="IPBDescription">Dallas, TX July 31</div>Who here on the NS forums is planning on going? I'm going with a group of about 12, all of which play NS. I'm hoping there will be enough avid NS players there to get some good games going. Maybe even Flayra and the gang could show up and promote NS2...I mean hey Quakecon is the perfect outlet for a new fps game.

For those of you who have been out of the loop, Quakecon is a ~3000 person lan party at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas from July 31 - Aug 3. Online registration opens this Wednesday (30th) (quakecon.org) and it is expected to fill up fast. So NSPlayers, sign up and I'll see you there!

I showed up briefly for the last day last year; my first time visiting but now that I live down here I could probably make it out again. I won't be able to stay in the BYOC but if there's a big NS group it might be fun to drop by.

Hmm I'm not sure I understand what you are saying....running a listen server with sv_lan 1 has worked for me. Never had any problems running NS on a LAN
