A Few Stupid Questions

<div class="IPBDescription">Im new to marines.. mostly commander</div> I know how to play alien well, but I am never marine because I get more lag issues and ussually there are many more marines and I dont want to stack the teams.



Anyway I would just like to know the following:

1.How do I build resource towers??? I know they're built on the nozzles just like as aliens, but how can I place it there?? the command station only allows me to build within a certain area..


2. How do you expand where you can place objects in the command station

3.Am I the only one who has the command station go extremely slow.. I drop to 4 FPS when I go into it.


4.What weapons are good for what? because it seems to take 200 bullets to destroy one offensence chamber.







I know these are some pretty stupid questions, but no one online will answer them for me.

1.) Towers can only be placed on Nodes (and they can be out of range of the Console)

2.) Build other bases next to nodes

3.) Hasn't happened to me yet

4.) I made a post on this have a look on the 2nd page or something its called "Your Firearm and You"

ok cool... when I build a base, do I need a command station there as well? or just the spawn ect.. cna I even build command stations??

A backup CC, while not necessary, is highly recommended. All it takes is one angry Kharaa to toast your CC - then it's a fight for survival.

When building a secondary base, treat it just like your primary.
Turrets need a factory.
Dropping weapons requires an armoury.
And naturally you'll want a phase gate to link the two. I've found linking with phase gates back to home is fine enough for weapons - they can take the extra two seconds to hop through and grab the HMG/GL if they really want it.

Best of luck with the commanding. It's a stressful job, but someone's got to do it.
