toon link is incredible. lucario is wonderful, snake is tough to use but i can see him being pretty awesome. metaknight also is pretty fun to use. i havent tried wolf out but people seem to play with him a lot online, every online match ive played had at least one wolf in it.
and it really is hit and miss with lag. sometimes its unbearable, but then sometimes its like you cant even tell that its online.
is there a way to play online with multiple people on one wii?

Only "With Friends".
I've done a bit of tweaking to my network, if you see a red Game & Watch out there, it may just be me!

Maybe it's because Nintendo understands the Internet as an entity that exists <a href="http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2004/10/29" target="_blank">solely as a venue for portraying their products in an illicit light</a>.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are looking at the greatest, most awesome collection of video game music in the world.
The soundtrack of this game is AMAZING. I mean, like, the catchy upbeat goodness of We <3 Katamari with the memorable staying power of Shadow of the Colossus.
This nifty little piece of software will let you play ANY region of Wii game from your European Wii. I can confirm that this is 100% legit, completely legal (no hardware modification) and works with the current version of the Wii firmware at the very least. So I guess at this point I should also mention that <a href="http://www.renchi.com/renchi/Wii_Games_US_Super_Smash_Bros_Brawl.htm" target="_blank">renchi.com</a> is selling brawl for the equivalent of £29. That's right, you can in fact purchase both the US version of brawl, AND the freeloader for the same price brawl will be when it comes out in the UK.
You may thank me for this information in the form of cash, cheque or sexual favors.

I'm just confirming that from personal experience, the freeloader works with brawl and won't brick people's consoles.

i played about 10 games online yesterday, and while there was some lag and a small slowdown, it was still playable and fun, so don't ditch online completely, it can still work.
Well I finally played it last night at a friends house (Im too cheap to own a console). I found it just as fun as the previous versions, but actually it had one problem for me. There is so much madness going on (which I liked), I would loose track of my character quite a bit (I have pretty bad eyesight). I got to know the pits very well, but still enjoyed it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Hmm, does this work for 15-minute brawl as well? Or will I have to survive one of those on my own?
Edit/Fun fact: The coin launcher only shows the number of trophies you got up to 99, even if you get more than that.

That would probably have to be done alone. The game's pretty picky about what can be co-op or not; we tried both "100 kills in Endless Melee" and "Beat 100 Man Melee under 3:30" and weren't awarded with the challenge completions. I wish there was a guide on what could be done co-op.
I didn't get online much recently because I've been too busy with Adventure mode. Just finished it on NORMAL this evening. Damn, I never realize the Brawl theme song is in Latin (End credit accompanied by song lyric)
I keep getting my ass handed to me when I play online <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />.

Edit: Explaining it better, the name you pick only lasts until the friend code is registered by the other person, it seems, and past that it takes the name the other person puts in. For example, I put in PULSE when I added your friend code before, but it got changed to LORK later.

i'm pretty down with snake too, less of a novelty character than i thought. trying to main lucario too just cause he looks so rad.
i've only had a game or two work really smoothly online, lag is pretty hit or miss for me. that is when it actually manages to connect -_-
Except for people who like to play as Kirby. IE me.
