This is that thing where they show lots of funny commercials, occasionally interrupted by muscles-for-brains throwing a shape-confused ball around, right?

Yeah, I remember this one time Superbowl had Denzel Washington in it. I think he was doing an ad on car theft or something.

Terry Tate the Office Linebacker is the only good thing to come from any super bowl.

    MARK MY WORDS!

These are known as Pigs In A Blanket. They're a favorite around my area. Though the traditionalist Dutch folk make better ones from scratch.

Oh, and while I wanted the Giants to win (underdogs anyone?), it's clear that Manning Jr is a tool who couldn't get anywhere without an impossibly good offensive line.

They are not pigs in a blanket b/c it was chicken franks and Pillsbury croissants. I know what pigs in a blanket are, and these are a cheap knock off (that happen to be rather tasty <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />)

...which is the case with ALL great quarterbacks.

Yaaay, Giants won. Flipped it on and it was 7 to 3 in third quarter in favor of the Pats and the Pats had possession. Didn't think they'd come back.

The excitement is contagious. I didn't get it until I went to college. The turning point for me was watching the Yankees Redsox playoff games the year the year before the Sox won the World Series(really good games). You could walk anywhere and still hear the game coming from every TV.

Yeah, it's the shared experience of living through the game's ups and downs.
