So, to dredge the topic on this:
How on Earth is there justification why the Steam version (£43) is currently £18 more than the Retail box (£25) in stores? I'd have preferred for convenience' sake to have got the Steam variant, but that's not a minor change of 72% increase.

- Shockwave<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> one of 2 things: 1) Retailers cutting prices 2) a screwy contract that forces Steam to sell at that price.

Thansal - On release day, COD4 was £39.95 from brick & mortar retailer and £35 from online. It was cheaper on the first day, never mind now the prices are dropping. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Finally picked this game up (for free at work, tee hee) for my PS3 and I'm going to try it out later after work today, unless if Tabula Rasa sucks up more of my time again. lol

Some tax/import/export thing probably.
