I am a fade have been cuting everything up, my res is getting high again, so I say "who wants to be fade", I hit G I gastate to a egg, who ever walks up to me pushes E loses 4 res they egg become my fade, I become a gorge. Promotes building and team work.

Similar to marines picking up and drop guns or tradeing welders. Except if your mate dies as your fade bye bye fade.

Ok I built a new hive droped some OC's can I have my fade suit back now.

fairly good idea for competitive league play, but honestly cant see too many people in pubs trusting others to keep their "fade suit" safe.

In competetive you're supposed to help skulks frag as a fade. I think its much more of a teamwork than just giving the fade to the other guy. In pubs I might do it, but its probably easier to just build some rt:s and skulk on.

    I would think that gorges are closest to "cuting" everything up than a fade.. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

You actually believe someone would give back their fade suit? HAHHAAHAHHAHAAHAAAHAAHAAHAH!!!!!

hm, ya. No one (or at least few people) would give you your fade suit back. They'd be too busy fragging to actually find you. Or they'd have lost the fade suit.

If you can only permaniently transfer a lifeform, then I don't see a -large- problem with that. After I've been fade for a long time, I often have 100 res which i have no use for whatsoever except to refade again and again after I've already died. I think transferring your fade to other people would allow more lifeforms to be out at one time. Not a bad idea.

Just don't advocate for getting your fade suit back after you've already given away (ie, make it non-transferrable after it's been transferred once). Also, make sure that people just aren't taking the res and using it for something else (which could affect the balance of the overall game).

I'm absolutely against this idea. The differences between Frontiersman and Kharaa are a core part of the game and by reducing them and crating more similarities (e.g. trade weapon = trade lifeform) you take the spirit out of the game.

yer its good idea but it will likely be un-used in pubs, or abused in competitive games. just like any sort of alien resources transfer.

Trading life-forms could prove for some interesting strategies...then again, it could prove to be kinda imbalanced if one good fade made his entire team high life forms by giving, fragging, re-evolving, giving...
