I really want this to not suck, but i've learned not to expect such things from game-to-movie adaptations.
Never ever ever use an apostrophe to denote a plural. That is not what it's for, in any situation. An apostrophe is used in contractions, such as "isn't" and "don't" and to denote ownership such as "peter's" or "the peoples'".
This includes plurals of acronyms such as "DVD".
"Trailers" is correct, "trailer's" is incorrect.
"DVDs" is correct, "DVD's" is not.
"Menus" is correct, "Menu's" is not.
"1000s" is correct, "1000's" is not.
Sorry to be so pedantic, but I see this everwhere, including on things like shop signs and it bugs the hell out of me.
EX:
Her book VS Kate's book.
My book vs Thansal's book.
Your book VS Waffle's book.
Our books Vs Off Topics' books (note, s' or s's are both acceptable for showing possession of a word that ends in s)
Otherwise it is denoting the dropping of letter(s):
EX:
they're = They are
It's = It is (NOT possessive)
As for the movie.
he looks too young, they should have nabbed Statham, as everyone said (except make him ACTUALLY shave his head this time instead of the standard stubble thing <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />)
QFT...this guy looks like a kid with issues and not like 47.
Someone with Arnie skills would be a good choice since he knows how to keep the right emotionless face - just look at the terminator movies: basically an actor who looks just like 47 and has Arnie skills.
Well duh, he is <i>the</i> quintessential hard as nails bald-headed English dude.
I guess now that my hopes of him playing 47 have been dashed, i'll have to go back to watching transporter (and transporter 2) while pretending its really 47...
The actor? Do not want :/
Couldn't they have gotten Gary Oldman to shave his head and his facial hair? He would have been a f*ing hardass 47..
Here's a little extra something for the fans...
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8XxQ0o9QQc&mode=related&search=" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8XxQ0o9QQc...ted&search=</a>
And the guy who's playing Agent 47 now, is the bad-guy from Live free or die hard.
I too hope this movie will rock, because god knows we need a good game-to-movie-movie soon!
I think he's a pretty good actor i mean just be thankfull that it's not tom cruise or soemthing like that.
That, or someone a bit less main stream. I forget where but I read someone suggest Daniel Day-Lewis
<img src="http://odeon.typepad.com/silverscreen/DanielDayL_Grani_981830_400.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /><img src="http://www.leninimports.com/daniel_day_lewis.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
I think he would've been great.
But lets face it. It's probably going to be a horrible movie.

well, they failed at getting Statham, so I guess he would have worked.

HITMAN is part of your childhood memories?
wth?
wth?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
That's what I was thinking too.
I really hope that's a joke. Mortal combat was terrible. The only reason I saw it all was because it came up while I had the TV on in the background.
I dono, I thought it was fun.
Much like I thought the Street Fighter movie was fun.
cheap action flics (about all that SHOULD be made out of a FIGHTING game) are fun.
however, Hitman has a fully developed story that should be payed attention to. IT also NEEDS to have massive amounts of death.
However, tbh, the Hitman games seem like shoddy movie material to me from what I played of them. They are stealth action. You are supposed to get in, silently take out one or 2 people (and possibly some side objectives) and get out. All silently.
Watching Jean Reno go into a suite and terrorize every one in it is wonderfully amusing.
Watching 47 cautiously get into the suite, avoid everyone, and peg the mafia boss so that no one even knows he did it? Not so much.
Have you ever played the Hitman games? Unless you are under the impression 47 is 2ft tall, with a big arse smile and interested in Scientology and not Science and Cloning... they wouldn't get Tom Cruise or some<b>one</b> like that.
Gary Oldman bald would rock, however my first choice for a bald headed hard man would go to:
<img src="http://www.cinemablend.com/images/sections/2916/2916.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />
THATS A BADASS 47 RIGHT THERE!
ahh, see there was your problem. You should have gone in expecting good combat (and it DID have that if I remember correctly) and nothing else.
wth?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Math substitute, 2 months.
Words, more.

People is already plural, so it should be "people's".
The actor himself isn't that bad, but he just seems to have too much of a baby face for the part (or at least not close enough). I'm fairly sure he was the villain in Live Free or Die Hard as well.
jason stetham would have been perfect. either that or get keanu revees and shave his head (j/k) WHOA DUDE I;m Like totally sneaky!
Did any see smokin aces? that had a character just like agent 47 - thats the only thing that saved the movie too, apart from the big ass sniper rifle tearing up the buidling <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
