<div class="IPBDescription">ITT: Old attachments</div>If you haven't realized yet, you can access every image you have ever uploaded to the NS forums from you control panel and the link "Manage Attachments". So, I propose a nostalgic circle-jerk.

How woefully ignorant we were to what was soon to become of our beloved forums. Also: bonus points for funny thread names.

Raiding on the WoW Beta server... oh wow that was a long time ago. All the poor people who's lives are going to be swallowed by that game...

[attachment=35755:000_0132_copy.jpg]
Oh yes, that's right. 24th December 2003 - 01:17 PM "Post your Computer!" thread. Look at that thing, it's an antique! Internets to anybody who finds their attachment to that same thread.

[attachment=35756:It_must_be_done.jpg]
I don't even remember MAKING this image. It's funny though, maybe I should start using it.

So, lets get this ball rolling. I've got alot more of those 3 year old attachments from various threads, you guys share your stuff first though.

We had one of these a while ago, but whatever:

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=32962" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=32962</a>

This is back when people were talking about making a favicon for the NS site. I whipped this up. You'll notice they didn't use mine. Hmm.

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=31767" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=31767</a>

Remember "The Pit?" Well, we were doing the whole "post gray renders of some model that you say will be in the game but will never be in the game" thing that all new mods do. I whipped up a "hi poly rug" and this was the result.

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=26718" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=26718</a>

Some weird planet thing I made to show off Greg Martin's tutorial. Butt ugly of course but I must have had a reason for attaching it.

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=26623" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=26623</a>

    Another butt ugly planet. Whatever.

How are you getting yours to show up as images?

I think this is from the Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst beta. I can't remember what the problem was, but I'm sure it was something worth getting up in arms about.

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=32650" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=32650</a>

This is... A clock. I think it's from Counter-Strike. No idea what it's for or what it's doing here.

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=31603" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=31603</a>

Remember when Counter-Strike Source was new and interesting and everybody wanted to see screenshots of it? Yeah.

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=30436" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=30436</a>

This is from the classic "Barrel vs Tire" thread. I think it's safe to say that the barrel wins.

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=attach&type=post&id=29409" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=29409</a>

And this is the Cyberdemon from Doom 3. Somebody wanted to see it. Whatever.

Ahaha, that computer is awesome. It's got lights and a little "oh please please, more ultraviolet light on my electronics"-window, but the graphics card in it is a GeForce 4 <u><b>MX</u></b>. That graphics card was a horribly underpowered piece of ###### the day it came out. A ricer computer if I ever saw one - pretty lights, but NOTHING under the hood. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

God I was pleased with myself that day. I'd just got a second CRT for the princely sum of nothing, and I was amazed. It was just before TFT's started to take off, and note the NS forums on the left, and IRC on the right.

Hell, I'm still using THAT mouse!

And I'm not holding it against you, but you gotta admit it's hilarious. The MX cards were simply not made for gaming at all.

Good to see a lot of folks again... and I guess again being a second time since I disappeared yet again. I'm gonna post some stuff later, mainly some of my old photoshop stuff that looks hilariously awful looking back.

E: Welp, was gonna watch Hot Fuzz with some friends but that went down the crapper, so I guess I'll post this stuff early.

God I sucked back then. That was my monitor. Thread is <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=64860&st=0&p=962167&#entry962167" target="_blank">here.</a>

Matrix! Using that pivot thing. Man that was fun. We should start another thread for that.

I don't really use attachments that much. The first one I posted was this:

    <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=20135" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index....st&id=20135</a>

Which is a map of my secondary school I had to do for some project.

Posted this in a "Jimmeh is Lame" thread I made back in the CM betas. Almost all the lame you see was a product of Jimmeh spamming the map the entire game. He did a great job on it.

The reason you were pissed in the Blue Burst beta is they limited to USA users to normal mode only. EVENTUALLY they got their heads out of their butts and opened hard about a week before the beta ended, but by that point the damage had already been done.

Oh yeah, I remember now. I especially like how they left very hard and ultimate locked <i>even after the beta ended</i>. Real classy, Sonic Team.
