Technical Difficulties

So i'm trying to install some mods for my game stalker and these d*** warnigns keep popping up saying that access was denied for them to create new folders inside the folder which im extracting them to. I know you can turn that feature off but i don't know how, i mean i went into the windows security center on my computer and tried to turn off the user account control protection but it didn't have any way of tuning it off. So, any help for this would be accepted, any help, how you did it or what you think i should do or ANYTHING!

is this windows vista? do you have admin privs on the computer? only thing I can think of is right-clicking the folder and going to Properties and making sure it's not read only...

Go to c:\windows and delete your system32 folder.

This is the folder that contains the UAC program and after deleting it and restarting your computer it should work fine.

    HTH.

    Failing that, read <a href="http://www.petri.co.il/disable_uac_in_windows_vista.htm" target="_blank">http://www.petri.co.il/disable_uac_in_windows_vista.htm</a>

Srsly though. Make sure the program isn't running and you have admin privele.. however it's spelled on the folders for the game.
