"Also sprach Zarathustra, op. 30 by Richard Strauss" I think.

    Was in the comments.

EDIT - K, I might be wrong. The question asked in the comments was something along the lines of "What is the second song in the video?" and this was the response. However, a quick listen seems to be a totally different song.

    Sorry.

That last song is a remix of Jessica (Allman bro's?) iirc.

    Doesn't help you, does it?

Well, I would take a guess it might be by Gustav Holst, but that's only because his stuff is used in everything. On that note, download "Mars" by Gustav Holst, you will realise it's used in everything.

There's a forum out there somewhere that lists every clip of music from every top gear episode..but I can't remember it and don't have it bookmarked anymore <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

See, I knew I should have bought that music dictionary...

I'll see if my music theory teacher is at the uni tomorrow, and I'll look it up in his.

I know it, I've heard it zillions of times, but God knows if I can remember the name or composition.

Zarathustra Spoke is the song Kubrick used in 2001.

    You'll possibly find it here <a href="http://forums.finalgear.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32" target="_blank">http://forums.finalgear.com/forumdisplay.php?f=32</a>

The best thing about top gear has always been the music.

    That wasn't a guess.

yea, I already had the planets, Jupiter and Mars are my favs.

Mars was also John William's inspiration in composing pieces for the gladiator movie.

    also <i>thank you</i> NEMESIS!
