Personally i'm bored of most games right now and just been trying various demos and betas. I've played a little 2Moons and didnt like it all that much. Played a little Sword of the New World and didnt like it. Played Fury, didnt like it. Been trying Tabula Rasa and im not sure yet, it doesnt have any PvP <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

I guess i need to start looking at retail mmo's like Guildwars or even worse....WoW <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" />

I was waiting for Age of Conan but that got pushed to march 2008 and im still excited about the next episode of HL2 and TF2. Any idea when those are out?

I guess i'll drop by and play some NS again until i find something good to play.....hehe.

had to re-start stalker for the 3rd time and just cant be arsed to finish it now. But i managed to get into the company of heroes: opposing fronts beta so i try and play that when people are on.

bioshock is coming reallly soon. right now, I just picked up Oblivion again. I could always see it was a good game, but my min/maxing gamer OCD prevented me from having any fun with it until now. Those Elder Scrolls games are brutal for people like me - you have to micromanage every single skill point you get if you want to max your multipliers without wasting any skill points, in order to max your stats at 100 all around... but I just downloaded a mod that lets you get the full +5 stat multiplier at levelup if you get at least 1 point in a skill the stat governs that level... no more micromanaging! I can actually have fun with the game now.

What happened in stalker that you had to restart it?

great game, but I don't think I could play it through more than once. I finished it once and saw some/most of the endings and was satisfied.

I don't think that's out in the US either... soon, though. Metroid is coming real soon too...

Try GW first. You can pick up the basic release for €10 here now, and with no monthly fee and a game designed for PvP I think you might enjoy it.

My "waiting for" list is kinda the normal fare for the time, I guess... Bioshock, Episode 2, Portal, TF2... Left 4 Dead looks kinda good, too.

Also been waiting for "Assassin's Creed". It looks like a mix between Hitman and Prince of Persia, which can only be a good thing.

Not much into MMOs any more, tbh (Planetside and the original SW:G were the only ones I really got into). Tabula Rasa looks interesting, but I'll probably just check out the trial then get bored, like I did with WoW.


As for right now... meh. I've been mostly going over all my old games, and also been playing Overlord. Trying to get 100% on Vice City and San Andreas, and trying out some single player mods for Freelancer. Also trying to complete Dark Crusade with all the races (only completed it with Tau and Necron, by the time I got to trying other races, I was kind've burned out on the game).

As a sidenote, I found my old copy of "Sub Culture", which is an awesome game. One of the first to use true 3d, I think. Or something. It was the first to do something. Anyway, it's a fun game, kinda like a proto-freelancer, but under water, and you're tiny (you harvest cigarette butts and coins that are as big as your ship). Unfortunately, it seems to hate XP. It will install and run, but inputs are delayed by around 40 seconds (move mouse, wait 40 seconds, cursor moves). Which sucks.

Oh, to answer your question. I'm waiting for Wipeout HD. At which point I'll buy a PS3.

I've been planning to buy a PS3 anyway, specifically for it's DLNA, BLURAY and HD features. I'm just waiting until there are actual games to play for it.

Been playing Guild Wars: Nightfall again in preparation for Guild Wars: Eye of the North.
Looking forward to Quake Wars: Enemy Territory and thanks to the demo I know it'll run on my computer on low
I want to play BioShock but I don't know if it'll run on my computer so I'm hoping for a PC demo
Of course I want Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and Portal and Team Fortress 2.
Left 4 Dead also looks pretty amazing.

There's not much I'm looking forward to that's coming out anytime soon. NS2, next ep of HL2, SC2, Galaxy and maybe Smash Bros. my home PC is dying rather quickly at the moment so maybe I'll feel more like playing PC games when all my new computer pieces arrive.

I'm playing the Wii version of RE4 now and it's cool but it's kicking my butt and I have low tolerance. Probably hasn't helped that I haven't played any other RE games.

I'm playing Company of Heroes (on Steam!) and Red Orchestra (on Steam!) while waiting very impatiently for Episode 2 (on Steam!), since I'm also replaying Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 (on Steam!), and I'm also waiting for Team Fortress 2 (on Steam!) and Portal (on Steam!). Bioshock looks nice too. Not on Steam though, so that's not so fun <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

meh, all I play is bf2.

I'm a one game at a time type of person I think. Maybe if I had a really kickass next gen comp. But mine is 4 years old and I think that it will really start affecting me soon. It can only play Supreme Commander on lowest settings and with a low-ish number of units engaged on the screen (~200 or so). As a result i'm just waiting for an upgrade to play current games and upcoming ones. So.. I'll buy a computer in a year or a bit earlier.

Don't play games as much as I used to. Only thing I've really got any desire to try when it comes out, besides Mario Galaxy, is Portal. I might even have a system capable of playing it. Maybe.
