<div class="IPBDescription">WIP name and map</div>ive been working on this map for a little while, it still needs some heavy adjustment in some areas, but id like to hear what could change based on the minimap.

note that the coridor on the far right is removed, its the bland on that slowly gets brighter as you go down

i also need absolute help at the node under the weld point, ive tried a few variations but nothing works there

    Glancing over it and this is what I see:
    <ul><li>bottom hive has 1 main exit?</li><li>I don't know what kind of cover you have in the hallways, but they seem quite long and straight (marine biased)</li><li>Did you keep siege distances in mind.<ol type='1'><li>The hallway north-east of the bottom hive in mind</li><li>The hallway also north east of the left hive</li></ul></li></ol><ul><li>Is it possible to shoot the hive or rt from the hallway north of the right hive? Same goes for the right hive, only on a lesse scale/range. Basically hives and rt's should not be shootable from a safe place, the marines need an insentive to move in. Same goes for sieging, if a hive or rt is visible from long range the sieging is very easy, because the aliens need to traverse a long distance to counter attack.</li></ul>
    All of this is of course based on a 2D minimap <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    I would try and add some more objects to the hallways so they aren't dead straight, otherwise aliens wont have any cover.

    pretty much all those comments help. though most of the cover for aliens is in the walls and stuff, most people say "put stuff on the floors" but i <b>barely</b> see anything on the floors of official maps, most attacks come from corners, and roofs. thx for the help thus far

    Yeah it is abit hard to add some objects for cover to the floor, the main one would be the use of crates i guess. Prolly the best way to add some cover is to make sure some of the walls help the aliens hide, plus good layout of vents.

    are you think in the purpose of the stuff you put in your map?
    think before the combat try think what people need to make that part of the map.
    you would like walk 3 kilometer to arrive to your job place or a main area of critical needs?
