<div class="IPBDescription">Any somewhat computer savvy person lend an ear. :(</div>Right now I have a problem. Recently I haven't been able to watch videos on my computer - the screen just defaults to gray/black and only runs sound in the backround. This happens with all players. Now, even more recently, when I alt tabbed out of company of heroes, and alt tabbed back in, my screen began to flicker erratically with white lines flashing and running across the center (and everywhere else, horizontally) several times a second.

Can someone help please? I can't play my favorite game now. :\

edit: I also cannot see the image preview animation thing for when I go to tweak SLI settings in my graphics card control panel. Whats wrong with my rendering?

Which 3d cards are you using? Try just one or just other other instead of SLI. Have you updated drivers lately? Did you do anything to your video codecs?

    Using 6800 GT.

    I'll try no SLI.

Haven't updated drivers in awhile, but I just downloaded the newest ones (released 26th of July).

Did nothing to my video codecs.

Update your video drivers, they might had corrupted. Get new codecs, and finally try another video card or ram since. Sounds more like a software issue since your not getting artifacts though.

Try windows restore to a date in which it wasn't happening, this way you can deduce whether the problem is hardware or software related.

I kicked my computer and reinstalled my video drivers and that seems to have worked. Guess the drivers were corrupt.

    Thanks for the help.
