Bug With Fades And Upgrades?

<div class="IPBDescription">Randomly loose abilities when I upgrade</div> This happened to me twice tonight, and a couple of times before. From what I can tell it happens when you get your 3rd upgrade. I always get upgrades in the order of Redemption, Adrenaline, then Cloak.

What happens, is after I get these upgrades sometimes, the only weapon I can use is Slash (the rest are in red and unusable). Even with 3 hives and having team mates Fades using Acid Rocket & Bile Bomb I will sometimes Upgrade then find I have nothing but Slash.

The problem seems to fix itself when I de-evolve then go back to being a Fade. Im not to sure if I can re-create the bug, but I do know that from what I can remember it always happens after I get my Upgrades. I will try to get a screenshot next time it happens.

Anyone else have this problem?

That happened to me a few times too, seeing as I'm a skulk and still have 2 hives (they're up and not being attacked) and I lose both parasite and leap.

but if you are refering that you can't cloak... chekc around for observation toweres... that's what's causing them.

I think it might be a bug with the hives, I know the last time this happened to me we were just finished building 2 hives at once. I hope they fix it, because its a huge waste of time to re-evolve.

Same thing happened to me.... BUT I LOST MY 0 HIVE ATTACK!


Actually, you dont lose the attack, you just dont see ANY of it. I almost always lose my acid rocket with 2/3 hives active. But I still use energy and do damage. Its really hard to tell what you are doing if you cant see your attack.

I've had this bug with marine. For some reason my pistol is red and it has 20 bullets. I can fire but get no decals or sound. You can shoot all your bullets and get more, then it fixes itself. Bit weird.

This is actually a bug with Lag/Packet Loss. It's quite common in a lot of mods... Desert Crisis I recall had the same thing... I would constantly have redded out Throwing Knives and Lazer pistols. =\

Mayhaps there could be a re-evolve command that would give you a quick cocooning stage and it would put you in the exact state you were in, this would let it recalibrate that # of hive abilitys you have... But... There's that whole regain health thing...

I played a game where I could use the skulk's leap move from the start (with only 1 hive)... I got to the marine spawn before they got the 2nd infantry portal up rofl.
