A new type of bunny hop

the b-hop we use now sux because i think most people use scripts or macros to do it. i thought of a new way to b-hop, you would press your jump button to jump then hold the button down till you land, then you would let go of the jump button to do a slightly faster jump, then when you land again u quickly jump to do another b-hop, every jump would increase speed until you reach the max speed or you stop b-hoping. you would get mayby half a second to jump after you land or the b-hop will stop.
this would still require skill to b-hop around the map without hitting walls and stuff.

You've never heard of mousewheels have you?

LOL
People use scripts to time their jumps properly and to compesate the problems unstable fps and connection lag cause. The more skill dependant part is the combination of strafing and mouse movements that actually allow you to gain the speed. Mouse wheel and scripts only help you to not lose the speed because of bad jump timing.
The best way for making the bhop mechanism better is probably the quake styled jumping which allows hold the jump key after executing a jump and the next hop will be automatical after you've landed. It removes the need for mouse wheel or scripts for the jump timing.
The best solution would be finding another, at least equally challenging and creative way of movement that is also easy to start practising and is more inuitive.
Here's an idea that could be equally as challenging as bhopping, and yet I think more people could agree on...though it most likely will get me flamed by those who are too stubborn to change.
...And yes, it would still involve hopping like a maniac.
In my opinion, it should be a little different for marines and aliens, other than the timing, etc...for instance, marines could bhop by using a jetpack to gain speed and simply focusing on timing jumps. (Forward thrust, not upwards. I.E., if you jumped and then pressed jump it would launch you forward instead of up.) You would start out slowly and then move faster until you finally reached a max speed. The timing, however, would be increasingly crazy and hard to master, and the time when you hit the ground would fluctuate.
As for aliens...Perhaps instead of jump-turn+strafe-jump, it could be a process of:
jump-land-jump-(+movement key)-land-jump(+movement)... etc...
The way I picture it is that the skulk / whatever would, with the immediate tapping of +movement, kick itself faster forward. Again, the longer, the harder until max speed is reached. The timing of pressing +movement would change with the jumps, and perhaps effectiveness could be determined by when the button was pressed.
Marine Bhop could use a tiny bit of fuel, Alien Bhop could use a tiny bit of adren.
Now then, before anyone says something about this system, I want to hear someone who has a better idea for a replacement. (OTHER THAN the wisecracks who will say the better system is not replacing it. This is assuming the old Bhop is removed!)
