Hi let me introduce you to a new server for Natural Selection but before I plug my server let me tell you why our server is *better*

1. We use a custom compiled kernel with a "tick rate" of 350hz thats 350 times a second which the server is also set to! (this means a lower ping in most cases)
2. We custom tuned the ipv4 parameters to optimize ping times
3. We will implement a CVAR checker *soon* to eliminate the cmd_rate "cheat" (as an alien setting this low makes getting hit very hard on a hit and run )
4. We will use steam bans to keep ###### ruining the game off the server.

The website will come as soon as I create a reverse proxy with varnish / lighttpd and apache which should be never. (about a month)

Judging by ping times, West Coast US.

Anyways, the most important thing for servers is a community that will play on it. There's a ton of servers that sit empty.

Yes its US west coast we have a dedicated P4 3.2 GHZ running as of now nothing but NS. Co-location is provided by calpop in one of the worlds biggest data centers using a dedicated 10MB connection
