On a slightly on-topic note, it was 43.6c in my room the other day. I don't know what that is in F but I'm willing to bet it's on the "quite warm" side.

Uhh, thats almost body temperature stickman, rather RATHER hot.

body temp is 37.5; if your body couldn't regulate your temp and your temp rose to that level- you'd be dead when you hit 40.

be thankful for your warm weather. <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=3663" target="_blank">i live here</a> and that's pretty good weather for us at this time of year.

    Ahh I thought it was 47... >.<

Where I am right now, the temperature is 20C... and thats for ideal living conditions, 43 is quite ridiculous.

Ones comfort zone depends on where you're climatized to. I was raised in the midwest and grew up playing in temperatures well below 0c with arctic winds blowing, and scarcely complained.

... and I've run in Florida in the heat of the day (100F) for miles, asking for more when I was done.

It's much easier to cool down than it is to warm up, so I'll stick with the Florida heat.

Warm up = put more clothes on, drink something warm, whatever.

Cool down = put a fan on, take clothes off. Then when you're naked and it's still hot, you're screwed.

Don't forget, AC is basically non existent in the UK, especially in homes. We're not used to heat. Hell, we're not used to seeing the sun through the clouds.

Yeah Stickman, I guess being in Florida so long, we take AC for granted - EVERYthing is air conditioned here. Hell, you can hardly find a car without it.

    With the humidity in Florida, I don't think you would survive in a car without it <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />.
I typically believe that it is easier to add a layer when you're cold than it is to remove layers when your hot.

True Paul, but if it's a bone-chilling cold with wind, it'll cut through multiple layers like a hot knife through butter.

    to make everyones life easier: <a href="http://www.wbuf.noaa.gov/tempfc.htm" target="_blank">Temperatur Converter!</a>

I went to 6 Flags GA (the NJ one) on Saturday. I think it was the hottest day of the year so far. Probably was well into the F90* range in the sun (And not all that better in the shade.

The amount of water my friends went through was kinda scary, combined with the knowledge that they only way we were purging it was via sweat and nothing else.

The upside was that none of the lines were all that long, we got on almost all of the rides we wanted to (didn't go on El Toro), including getting my GF to go on Kingda Ka. Also of the 4 o us only one of us got sunburned, and it is small and not that bad.

Yesterday and today and much more bearable then Saturday was.

Yeah, been to Disney when it was like 95F and 70% humidity... like you siad, no lines but we sweat like a hoe on overtime. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Heat... cold... how would ya'll like to be outside in sickening smoke for weeks on end? I'm about tired of this Bugaboo fire! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad-fix.gif" />

Pretty normal where I live to get to 100, maybe 110 sometimes around the afternoon. Of course that makes the pool even better.
