For the 25th Anniversary of Macross, the singers of Macross and Macross 7 will be together at the announcement of new Macross Series.
Basara(f.u.k.u.yama,福山 芳樹), Mylene(Chie Kajiura,チエカジウラ) and Minmay(Mari Iijima,飯島 真理).

Shoji Kawamori, mecha designer extraordinaire launched a new website, apparently coincides with the announcement.

    Why is there still no live-action Macross movie with the quality of the upcoming Transformers movie? (I mean this in the way I felt watching Starscream transform into an F-22). Hated M7, thought Zero was great... now where's my live action?!!
