3.2 is the best version ever! Don't change a thing!

<div class="IPBDescription">Until the next version! Then change stuff to make it better again!</div>I like it. I like it a lot.

This post is to counter all the negative posts on here so that not everyone who reads the thread titles in this forum will think that everyone hates this version. What follows is of little consequence to the grand plan. Thus far, my mission is accomplished.

I don't have any problems with it. Seems good

I love it, it doesn't affect my gaming really, so I'm happy.

I remember and still do see it a little, when a fade dies within 30 seconds or its a miserable failure for one side, they just say "its 3.2's fault". It's annoying because its mostly untrue.

    Meh.... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Its cosmetically, functionally and technically better than all previous versions. But i dunno. My fondest memories of ns are prior to 3.0. Not the BEST, but probably the FUNNEST version for me was 2.0. 1.04 was way too buggy.

I think my only problem with 3.0 onwards is how drastically they keep changing the maps! bring back original bast ftw! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

Plus i found co to be errr well not up my alley thats for sure, but i accept that others may like it.

I'm having a hard time getting used to this version.

Lots of good things in this version, but I still miss the lerk spike and skulk 2 bite kill.
Yes I know that's quite a few versions back.
Could be me being all rambo, but I'm not good at Kharaa in this version.

I like 3.2. The only thing im not used to in this version is +movement, i cant find a handy key anywhere to place it on my keyboard/mouse, so im still doing things the old way, which makes me feel left out <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Not everyone uses the same key setup as you Smood.

Thank you, great ns player of all nations!

Anyway, I find mouse2 to be great for +movement, as Stix has said. You should try it reeke.

Personally, I found babblers and fades stuck in walls (version 1.x) hillarious! And I loved how I, as an alien, could use the PG back to marine base and rip it apart. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> Not to mention the high win percentage of a rush to jp and hmg (when it used to do full damage to structures)... lol. Good times! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

I agree, the fun times were previous versions. BUT, do you think it might be because we were still pretty new to the game and still kind of exploring, experimenting and learning the dynamics of the game?

Now that we're experienced, fun is now heavily correlated with winning instead? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> At least more so for me... and this means that there is less exploring and experimenting because there are now proven general strategic guidelines to greatly increase the chances for victory.

But in terms of balanced gameplay (assuming roughly 6 vs. 6 games) and pace of games (it's definitely a lot more fast paced), I think I do like 3.2 a lot as well! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    actually it would be, popup menu is on the # key <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

i use mouse1 and mouse2 for attacking/move forward. strange setup, all the binds are down around the "L;'#m,./" area if that makes sence. Started that setup about 1999/2000 when i started fps games, kept it the same ever since. Anyway, thats my problem, not the games <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

and SJ, you might wanna remove the fork from your rear, it's as if you cant make a single post around here without making a snide remark about a persons opinion or ability. Theres no need for it.
