in LAN parties
<div class="IPBDescription">In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania</div>Yeah, so, I may be able to get my parents to let me host a little LAN party at my place. I would have room for, at my house, 25 people or, if I can get a larger location, around fifty.
I have to run this by my parents, but here's the deal.
I do not directly have the equipment for a true LAN- I can do a wireless lan, but that's about it. I would need at least one tech guru to help out with either a large-port router or hub. I have a fiber optic connection so if we decided to go and rape a server or two (since being in the same room could make co-operation much easier) I have plenty of bandwidth <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
I need to know who all, if anyone, would be interested. I would ask for a fee of a few dollars to help pay for snacks and soda (I'm a college student after all <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />) and you would need to bring sleeping bags or hammocks or whatever you wish. Tents if you want, we have plenty of backyard space. I would do a large BBQ with steaks, burgers, hot dogs, brautwerst, and other such grillable goodies.
Anyone potentially interested?
